About Annette
At the singers studio training soloists is paramount. I specialize in audition prep for stage roles, college and competitions. I continually work to stay cutting edge educated, relevant and responsive to what singers need. My virtual business has exploded with COVID. I work hard to make every lesson excellent, inspiring, and glorious for my students.
I absolutely love that my world is filled with beautiful singing voices. Soloists thrill me. I have found that what makes me unique is that I am more than just a vocal coach. I am a thorough and educated vocal teacher. I am able to extend range, educate you on all the parts of your voice, choose repertoire, overcome vocal problems, teach in any style and in four different languages. I'm great at helping my students set goals and achieve their dreams.
My classical training was with Inge Manski Lundeen. She sang with The Metropolitan Opera. Her mother, Dorothea Manski was one of the original teachers for the Jacobs School if Music at Indiana University. Inge was not only spectacular but specialized in healing vocal problems. Somehow she passed that to me.

my first step is an audition and discussing the goals. First lesson is an introduction of vocal terminology and techniques so we can speak the same language. Then I build a vocal repertoire plan if 5-6 songs so we can always have songs we are working on and songs ready for auditions and performance. Then I get to work training and inspiring.
Make sure they love your voice and they are capable of real teaching rather than just giving you songs to sing.
