At Lady Rebecca Fashions, we create custom costumes for a wide range of clients. These include cosplayers, party princesses, theatres, reenactors, and more.

I started by teaching group classes for Quality Sewing and Vacuum, and then continued doing private lessons after I stopped working there.
I have been sewing for about 14 years, have a minor in costume design, and have worked in costuming at universities, professional theatres, and theme parks. I also taught sewing when I worked at Quality Sewing & Vacuum.

About the lesson

It depends on your sewing experience. For someone sewing for the first time, we first go over how to use the machine. Then, we create a sewing sampler, using all the basic stitches, sewing in a straight line, creating a curved seam, buttonhole, etc. Then we will move on to basic projects, such as tote bags or pillowcases, before graduating to reading and using patterns.
If you are working on a specific project, it will vary depending on the project and what you need help with.
All types! Children through adults, of all levels.
Check out their sewing skills by looking at pictures of their work. Also, if you don't like a teacher's teaching style, you don't have to stick with them.
