About Jacob
I use some untraditional teaching methods that aren't usually taught to beginner and intermediate students. For instance how scales are traditionally taught
I enjoy watching students progress from not knowing anything to playing songs, being able to sight read, and developing a love of music.
I took private saxophone and clarinet lessons in high school. During my 20 year career in various U.S. military bands I studied oboe and saxophone at Cameron University. I also took a masters class on oboe with Joseph Robertson.
