About Chelsea
I am a kindergarten teacher looking for part-time tutoring jobs in the summer. This is my fourth year of teaching and my third year teaching kindergarten. My tutoring expertise is for students in grades K-5, as well as children getting ready to enter Kindergarten in the fall. I am qualified to tutor children in all subjects but my speciality is working with students to better their reading and writing skills through direct phonics instruction. I love finding hands on, fun ways to help teach children how to read. I am also currently working on earning my Masters of Arts in Reading and Literacy and my Reading Specialist Credential at SDSU.
I am available to tutor in person or via Zoom. I have been fully vaccinated but will still be wearing a mask full time while tutoring in person. Multiple references are available on request.
