About Joy

No matter your age or ability level, we have a place for you at Boost School of Music. Piano instructor Joy is passionate about sharing music with everyone and watching her students grow. During her 10+ years of experience, she has taught students of all levels and is excited to share music with you.

I started teaching while working on my Bachelors degree and loved it so much I've made a career out of it.

Bachelors in Music and Masters in Music

About the lesson

I interview each student to find out their interests and goals for piano lessons. I ask about types of music they're interested in and write down specific pieces they want to work towards. I choose materials with each student in mind and we collaborate together to achieve each student's goals.

I've worked with students of all ages and abilities.

Ask lots of questions when you meet your instructor about their background and the types of music they love to teach. Music lessons are a collaboration between teacher and student, so you should feel like this person will work alongside you to reach your goals.
