About Shannon

Hi, I'm Shannon! I'm the Owner and a teacher at Creative Cultivation Studio, a small music lesson studio based in La Verne, California.

I started Creative Cultivation Studio in 2020 through teaching online lessons to my personal studio of 50+ students, LLC'd the studio in 2022 when I also invited a few more teachers to be a part of the studio to help me with the large student load I had been teaching by myself for several years.

The culture of my studio is one of kindness, nurturing to students, and focusing on cultivating creativity and knowledge in students' lives. I make sure that all of my staff are a great fit with this culture, and have a love and a joy for music that is evident in their teaching.

We build lessons around each individual student, catering to what it is they need, and where we can best help them build their skills. We understand that every person is different, and want to ensure that each student is learning as much as they can so they can become the best musician they can be.

About the lesson

Before starting lessons, we need to know 3 simple things:

-the student’s age

-if the student has any musical experience (it’s completely fine if they don’t!), and if yes, do they already have a set of books they have been working through

-if the student has access to an instrument to practice

Perfect! Shannon was lovely, such a sweet heart and very clear and thorough at our sit down. As well as the handout they give is pretty much clear and to the point.

Taylor my voice teacher is a Doll! So patient and dedicated to what she does! She is very encouraging and knowledgeable. I look forward to my Saturday morning lessons with her! ❤️

Details

Our monthly all-inclusive tuition is as follows:

$165/month for 30-minute lessons

$200/month for 45-minute lessons

$250/month for 60-minute lessons

$140/month for 45-minute Accelerated Piano Program group lessons (ages 6-14)

$135/month for 45-minute Piano Playtime group classes (ages 3.5-5)

We typically recommend starting with 30-minute private lessons or a group lesson setting for beginners.
