About Rupert
Hi! My name is Rupert and I am a second-year Electronic Production and Design student at Berklee College of Music. I have 11 years of experience with piano and 6 years experience in electronic production. When I was younger, I went through many different music instructors and in school/out of school classes which allowed me to have an understanding about ways in which music can be taught. I can assure that I have valuable knowledge, passion, and dedication in creating a personalized curriculum fit for each student. Music has a strong importance in our world, not just as a way of expressing an individuals creativity and imagination, but as a language that unites and connects us all and as I am currently on my own path towards following this passion for music, nothing would make me happier than to help someone with their own journey.
I enjoy seeing students proud about their improvements in learning a new instrument or skill. I also love hearing about their passion for music and seeing their dedication to learn.
During my senior year of highschool I volunteered at a public elementary school and worked with grade 5 and 6 students, which included leading classes on group literary reading and music lessons. I have also led several online zoom classes for students at my highschool interested in learning music production software.

I first like to have a general conversation with my student about their long term goals and what they would like to achieve through our lessons. In this time I also enjoy getting to know their music background and who they draw inspiration from. Based on this conversation I quickly develop a curriculum that will put them on the right track towards their specified goals.
