About Jennifer

I majored in piano and music in college. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years. I am a very patient teacher.

I enjoy sharing my passion for music and the piano with my students. I believe learning to play an instrument is very important and growth and can be vrey enjoyable.

My college instructor suggested that I teach.

I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued lessons through college. I majored in music and piano in college. I have been teaching beginners (children and adults) for over 10 years now.

About the lesson

My typical process is to meet the student at my home studio or at their home. If they are beginners, I start them out with the very basics using a primer level lesson and theory book. If the student has already been playing the piano, we would start by seeing what the already know and then go from there. If they already have books, I will work with their books.

Excellent! Willing to work with me even thou I can’t play with right hand because of an injury, teaching where and what notes are and playing with left hand and a little with right depending on which fingers needed for now since can’t use them all.
