About Billy
Welcome to music lessons with Billy Edwards. As a professional musician and teacher of ten years, I offer tailored lessons in guitar, piano, upright bass, and music theory, ensuring each student's unique musical journey is informed by the sound. My goal is to train students in rhythm and listening so they can confidently enter any musical situation. I teach all genres, but my resume is heavily stacked with jazz artists including Roy McCurdy, Dennis Chambers, Faye Carol, Ralph Moore, Sylvia Cuenca, and Steve Carrington. Having worked with children as young as 3, and taught a class at Stanford to all 80 year olds, I am confident I can help you along your musical journey.
