About Haley
I’ve been playing piano since I was around 8, and my love of piano music has only grown since then. As a new teacher with little experience, I can offer low rates.
I hope to share my love of the piano with beginners and intermediate players. Come ready with your favorite songs, and we can work together to teach you the song. My ultimate goal is to provide you with the tools to learn and explore music on your own, whether that be through improvisation or sheet reading.
As an education major in college, I fell in love with teaching. Although I later changed my major, I miss teaching. I look forward to teaching students music.
I’ve taken private piano lessons for six years. I college, I enjoyed education courses as well as a advanced jazz piano course and ear-training for music.

New students should come prepared to share a list of their favorite music, their goals they’d like to accomplish in tutoring, and their previous music experience.
I’ll also ask you to play a sample of songs at various levels so I can understand your expeierience.
From there, we choose a song(s) at the appropriate level of difficulty. We can always adjust as needed.
