About A Chording to Plan
With over a decade of experience as both a soloist and collaborative pianist, I bring to my teaching a unique blend of artistry, versatility, and a deep understanding of how musicians grow. My performance career has taken me to concert halls across the US, China, and Italy, from symphonic halls to opera houses, and includes collaborations with orchestras and choirs.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from China, a Master’s in Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and I am completing my Doctorate in Collaborative Piano and Coaching at the University of Minnesota. My teaching and coaching experience includes positions at the university level, including Xinghai Conservatory and Ithaca College.
I am passionate about working with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them build strong technique, expressive artistry, and the confidence to perform with joy.
