About Patricia
Early on in my experience as a working woman, I found that one of my strongest attributes was my ability to sell myself: my skills, my capabilities, my reliability and my willingness to learn new skills. Having been a double major in college with Degrees in Applied Music and Art, I had little knowledge of business, but I can hardly remember a time when I wasn’t teaching what I had learned or was learning. Some of my earliest piano students were those I taught while still a student in college myself. This revelation has held me in good stead my entire life, as I have parlayed my passions and interests into subjects that I could teach on a private basis. Having no formal training, but having performed since the age of four, I confidently applied to be a music major in college. Based on my ability to sight read, I was accepted into the program and became the first music student in 69 years to qualify to do an honors thesis. One of my proudest moments was reading, singing and playing the piano based on my Thesis at my Town Hall Performance I graduated with Departmental Honors in Applied Music: Piano and Voice.
The greatest rewards in my line of work come from the students, themselves, as I experience their growth and development of their skills and talents.
