About Melanie
I offer instruction on musical instruments, voice, music theory, music composition and arranging, and musical theater.
I am a music teacher with over ten years of experience instructing students from grades Pre-K to 12 in the areas of general music, instrumental, voice, music theory and composition/arranging. I offer private lessons on instruments, voice, music theory, music composition/arranging and musical theater. I have three published compositions for band music through Alfred Publishing Company and I have also served as guest conductor for festival bands. My music has been performed worldwide by middle school, high school and collegiate ensembles. To listen to my music, visit alfred.com. You can also listen to my music on YouTube. Besides offering services in music education, I offer services in composition of new works for instrumentals or arrangements of current works and I offer services in music transcription using Finale music notation software.
I enjoy seeing the growth that students make from when they first begin, to when they graduate.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and have been a music teacher for 11 years.
