About LUSIA
For many years Lusia Glagoleva has been successfully combining her work as an instructor of Piano Performance at Musical Colleges, Conservatories with her concert appearances. She has more than 25 years teaching and piano performance experience in Atlanta as an Adjunct professor in Georgia Central College, Parkway Church pianist, solo piano recitals, private piano teacher.
Glagoleva’s teaching expertise is impressive, as she always works on a high professional level and has earned the respect of many. Her lessons are interesting as well as substantial. She always plans a curriculum for each individual student, finding the best methods of performing and creative understanding of his/her specific personality and aptitudes. Her lessons are always interesting. Many young musicians have studied under Lusia during her teaching, some of these students have themselves become laureates and diploma winners of various competitions. In several such competitions she has also served as a Jury Member.
I considers it essential for teachers to understand the psychology of their students so they can learn what they can and what they cannot achieve. We are all so different and what one can do, another can’t. To practice any Art , specially in Music, is the way to make your soul grow. So do it !
