About Ilonka
My compelling drive to succeed with the elements of a musical life is sustained by a love for music, a searching interest in its nature and the firm belief that higher standards shall prevail. It is my duty to impart my musical knowledge and skills to my students.
I view teaching as a moral and essential responsibility musicians should experience and enjoy. The fun derived from making music and imparting the product is the very thing which fuels my drive to increase dimensions and achieve higher planes. It is my desire to be able to meet the needs, the talents and interest of every student. Patience and flexibility, still to be more fully defined in my thinking reflect characteristics of musicians who enjoy and appreciate the totality of music and its ministry.
My highest degree is a Doctorate in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy
