About Diego
I like to base my work with students around specific goals they have made. Depending on what you would like to do on your instrument, there are many avenues and areas to focus in on.
Reading is always important, but depending on what music you want to make, there can be other priorities that are as important.
I have an eclectic background myself, with experience in Classical, Jazz, Rock, and even Latin styles, among others.
Have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in composition, as well as a CT teachers certification. I have been given private lessons for almost 10 years, and teaching in the classroom for 3 years.
My favorite part of my job both as a teacher in the classroom and in private lessons is when I see a students work their way through a challenge and achieve a real breakthrough. That feeling of success and mastery is one that I seek both as a teacher with students and by myself when practicing.
