About Della
I have played and taught Classical, Jazz, and Pop piano for over 15 years. Although I am currently teaching on-line only, with my multiple cameras and enhanced lighting, I am able to provide optimal instruction. I currently teach beginners through early advanced students. There are no age requirements or limitations. Students with learning, or behavioral challenges are welcome to study with me in a safe, encouraging environment.
I have taught music privately and in public schools for many years which has enabled me to understand how to customize my lessons to fit the individual learning styles of my students. In addition, I teach various genres including Classical, Jazz and PopuIar Piano.
I am passionate about teaching piano to children and adults. I have a firm believe that anyone who is serious about learning piano can enhance their live from the musical self-expression and creativity that studying piano can bring.
Please allow me to share with you my music teaching credentials. I have a B.A. in piano from Rutgers University and also a MA in Music Education from TCNJ. I have over 20 years of teaching private piano. I also teach group piano.

A 15 minute consultation is included in the first lesson. In addition, I play a song for students and their parents to demontrate my skills, technique and versatility.
If students wish to study piano with me I recommend the piano books for them to purchase based on their ability, past experience and learning goals.
