About Edward
I have a BA in Music from UNT. My students perform at a very high level. I see my high retention rate as one endoresement. Beyond classical music, my background allows me to teach jazz and improvisation. I have been an active member of the local music teachers association and co-chair the FWMTA Original Composition Contest. My Instagram handle is @FortWorthPianoTeacher I am also very involved in the local performing arts scene.
I enjoy seeing children gain new skills and talents and being part of a child's overall development.

I start with an evaluation, usually with the parents over the phone. After understanding the child's past experience and learning needs, I bring appropriate music literature. For new students, I work with an entry level method book, usually FJH or Alfreds, and go from there.
