About Christine

I’m a Professional Soloist Violin and Piano instructor/ composer with 25+ years of teaching experience. Offering lessons for children ages 3-99 in beginner through advance levels as well as for professional solo performers. Specializing in technique, sight reading, ear training, imagery, performance & competition skills, and NYSSMA prep. All genres of music can be taught, My specialty is in classical solo performance. Music theory, ear training, and many fundamentals are incorporated into each lesson.I also offer combo violin and piano lessons for all ages. (Recommened for children 6 and under)

I teach in a Newly custom music studio designed for best acoustic sounds 17x30 houses a concert grand piano 7+ft & grand upright piano plus a waiting room and student parking. Located off of western ave near SUNY albany College.

I teach full time but I also hold a degree as a Physcian Assisant & CPR certified. and work with students who may have use of only one hand/special needs

Inspiring students that everyone has the ability to play an instrument and can enjoy creating beautiful music

After I graduated with my bacholars of music at age 15 I started teaching.

Ø Violinist for 27+ yrs, Pianist for 26+ yrs
Ø Award winning Violinist with over 100+ solo performances, as well as in concert with/and part of many symphonies/ orchestra/ chamber groups all over the east coast for over 12 years.
Ø Award winning Pianist with over 50+ performances, with many of my own written pieces performed.
Ø Attended Julliard Prep and Manhattan School of Music - graduated with Bachelors of Music: Violin Major/ Piano & Composition minor at the age of 15
Ø Studied under Keng-Yuen Tseng who is an international award winning soloist & music director, who studied under Erick Friedman and Glenn Dicterow, who were students of world famous Jascha Heifetz as the violinist of the century
