About Madi
I absolutely love photography because it is an art that forces you to look at things from different perspectives and appreciate the vast detail of the world around you. I began my business my senior year of high & got accepted to New York Film Academy's Photography Intensive course, but it got cancelled when covid hit. I started working a full time job while looking for ways to still use my photography gift. I volunteered a various places, and then found where I thrive! I began teaching lessons & I love it! Teaching others, especially kids, to develop their own creative eye while learning extremely important skills is something that will always excite me. I enjoy helping them hone their craft & grow their artistic style. I start every student off with learning the basics - even if they just get a refresher. We want that foundation to be solid! And then I tailor it to each individual. We learn the many different types of photography. Maybe they decide they like the idea of being a wedding photographer more than a landscape photographer... or maybe they love both! We will study exactly what they are interested in, and get some little extra bonuses along the way. Then we may learn editing, begin building a portfolio, and even starting a website. The possibilities are endless. In person lessons may also lead to shadowing real photography sessions one day! I look forward to working with you!
