About Buster
I am passionate about healthy living, helping others achieve their fitness and health goals. 12+ years in health, fitness, physical rehabilitation, nutrition counseling. 7 years as a certified nutrition consultant and personal trainer, obtaining a bachelors-degree held degree in exercise science, focused in physical therapy. I also obtain one of the most accredited certifications for strength and conditioning - C.S.C.S. through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This is a bachelor and/or masters of science degree-required certification on strength and conditioning for athletes.
I enjoy building meaningful relationships with people, learning more about their life goals in health and fitness. I help people obtain a manageable, convenient approach to health and fitness that is longstanding. Consistency is key, and knowledge is the foundation of my approach. Healthy alternatives to conventional nutrition is an important subject in today's world full of convenience, on-the-go nutritional items.
I worked for 2 large corporations initially to gain a better foundation and structure for working with clients. Ever since I've been working with clients on the side while pursuing my full-time career.
I hold a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Texas A&M University; Kinesiology: Motor Behavior. I have over 500+ hours of physical therapy work. I obtain the highest strength and conditioning certification which requires a bachelor's and/or master's degree to obtain (C.S.C.S.). This certification is used at the collegiate level and professional sports level to train collegiate and professional atheletes. I also obtain a personal training certification as well as several nutrition certifications. I have have 8+ years working in health and fitness. I currently work for a global manufacture and distributor of nutritional goods based out of Houston, TX. An industry leader in sports nutrition for over 25 years.
