About Kaz

With 26 years in the health & fitness industry, my passion for teaching a wide variety of training principles, and applying them in a complete, well-rounded program, is the cornerstone of every session. Creating challenging workouts, yet leaving you energized, exhilarated and full of vitality at the end, is the goal. I design customized programs that combine balance, strength, cardio, core, flexibility and nutrition fundamentals, all of which are essential to achieving a faster, leaner, stronger, and longer, you. To that end, my main focus is to support you in creating longevity - I want to help you to keep exercising long into your life. During our sessions, I apply yoga principles that challenge you with balance, flexibility, and breath. Additionally, in your completely personalized session, I prioritize keeping you injury-free so that you can enjoy your life to the fullest while looking forward to the next session. My love for personal training came when I took Kinesiology my junior year at The University of Colorado Boulder, which sparked a huge interest in the field. I became certified in 1995 shortly thereafter and worked with the CU football and track teams. There I learned the basics of plyometrics, speed and agility training. Since then, I’ve built on those principles and applied them as part of my training philosophy, working at some of the leading gyms around the country, owning my own training studios, and working with individuals of all ages, abilities, and athleticism. After training clients in Boulder, LA, & Aspen I moved to New York City in 2001.

Helping people achieve the best versions of themselves thru deep health creates great joy and reward in my life. I couldn't think of a better way to live my life.
