About Holly
Not your average personal trainer!!
Not only am I NASM certified, I also have a B.S. in Exercise Science with a specialty in adaptive training!
This means that I am able to create a safe and knowledgeable experience for anyone who is new to the fitness world as well as those with an injury and/or disability while also being trained in proper weight training techniques to aid those with more experience looking to step their game up!!
I have roughly 7 years of experience with training overall with 3 of those years focusing on adaptive training for individuals with various disabilities including but not limited to: traumatic brain injury, stroke, paraplegia, and below knee amputation.
Not only do I love having the opportunity to help people improve the quality of their life, I also thoroughly enjoy the training process itself. Watching someone's body respond and adapt to physical training is one of the most interesting experiences!
I have a very mild form of cerebral palsy and while in college for physical therapy, I started going to the gym. This was the first time in my life I had noticed a real improvement in my overall functionality and it inspired me to want to help others achieve the same accomplishments!
I obtained my B.S. in Exercise Science from Arkansas State University in 2019 and became a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2021.

I like to start the process with a general fitness assessment as well as a health questionnaire to figure out what your ideal starting point will be. After this, I teach you some basic stretches and a warm-up routine that you will be instructed to perform before all of our sessions. Once we pinpoint where to begin, I create a custom exercise program specifically tailored to your needs that will get modified and progressed along the way to ensure ideal results!
All shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, you would be surprised how many people benefit from fitness coaching!
Connection matters! The relationship between a personal trainer and the client is key to success. If you don't mesh well, you won't get everything out of training that you deserve.
I have some experience in training brides preparing for their weddings and recently was invited to watch one of my clients get married. It was very fulfilling for me to see how confident and comfortable she felt in her dress!!
