trust the process. Martial arts and fitness in general is hard especially if you're new to it. Know that it's a long process that never ends. It's about giving your best that day and take it one day at a time.
One of my clients could not do a standard push-up. Recently she not only completed one she did ten and didn't even realize what she had accomplished. It was a special moment for me as a trainer and I had to stop the session and have her reflect on her accomplishment to just be proud of herself.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
