About Alyona

Hello! My name is Alena and I’m the founder of Swirly Studio LLC: a company that creates absolutely amazing paper art using a technique called quilling and teach kids and adults to create amazing paper art.

Quilling (also known as paper filigree) is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is rolled, looped, curled, twisted and otherwise manipulated to create shapes which make up designs to decorate greetings cards, pictures, boxes, eggs, and to make models, jewelry, etc.

I’m a certified artist specializing in the classic Korean art of quilling and I want to share this beautiful art with you!

Swirly Studio also holds classes to teach people the steps of quilling so anyone can create their own stunning and unique pieces of art from paper strips! These classes are perfect for anyone who wants to learn the technique, from kids to adults. This art form is also very useful for improving motor skills and honing hand-eye coordination, which can be especially great for children and seniors. Exercise your fingers and just relax and enjoy!

Also Celebrate your event (Birthday Party, Bridal Party, Baby Shower or Private Event) in a creative way...we’ll provide the art activities, materials & teacher’s instruction:

We can also bring the classes to you! Swirly Studio is more than happy to meet with your group once a week for a two-hour session so we can create wonderful masterpieces together.

You can find me and my work below! Please check it out and like my page.
