About Marla
I sang in European theaters and studied at the best schools in the United States and Europe. I have a BM from New England Conservatory and an MM from Indiana University and have studied in Italy with the most famous teachers in Opera. I have taught in University for 13 years and privately for 25 years. I love to help my students discover their voice and can teach techniques that are unique and cut the time it normally takes to learn singing to a fraction.
I started teaching in Europe where I was singing professionally.

About the lesson

I start with breathing and developing the diaphragm and then apply the exercises to speech and then singing.
Professionals, amateurs, and classical as well as all other styles.
I would like my students to be comitted to practicing at least 3 times a week.
I have master classes in my home and professionally as a singer I will be performing as soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony in 10 days.
