About Audrey
Teaching has been a corner stone of my life since I can remember. Along side my teaching career, I have been working professionally in the music business since the age of 10 doing everything from recording background voices on pop albums to singing leading roles in Opera and Musical Theatre on some of the worlds most innovative stages. I am an actor and yogi and incorporate Pilates, Alexander Technique, and Feldenkrais into my studio practice. Bringing voices and bodies out of their shells and into the performance realm with health and connection to breath is a cornerstone of my technique. I tailor lessons to the individual, meet you where you are and go from there. I look forward to meeting you!
In lessons I tend to get excited about your progress and I am high energy and rarely subtle. I tune my teaching to you (or your child) based on age, ability, and desire and it will be an hour a week you look forward to almost as much as I do.
I've been teaching for well over 10 years from children to professionals. I'm conservatory trained and currently working as a professional singer. Everything I teach goes back to breath, it is called "Inspiration" for a reason.

I began studies in flute and piano at age 8, added voice and acting to the mix soon after and went to the Peabody Conservatory to study Classical Voice and CalArts to study Vocal Art, Producing and Dramaturgy, and currently have a performing career going on 18 years and a teaching career of over 10.

I like to ask my student questions and find out where they are coming from musically and vocally and what it is they hope to achieve or work on. I ask what their expecations are and then I figure out how to help them get what they came for and more.
All types. The trend in my current studio is pre-professional and young professional singers, but I've taught anyone from children to the elderly.
Take them all for a test drive before you commit. Personality counts, you need someone you click with who also has the ability and knowlaedge to help move you from point a to point wherever you are going.
