About Esprit
I teach Piano lessons, Voice lessons, and private lessons for theatre/audition prep. All ages!
"Music changes the brain and challenges students to think a different way. Participation in performing arts opens up opportunities and experiences for students and gives them a place of belonging and a sense of pride and accomplishment.
The primary objective in my teaching is to foster an environment of creativity, expression, cooperation and ensemble, and spiritual connection to the music. The tasks and skills are aimed toward performance and there is a great latitude of creativity involved.
Music involves a whole different language, some have said a universal language, and the analysis, interpretation, and conveyance of that language through performance. It involves skills on an individual level as well as a corporate level of collaboration.
In a world of chaos and confusion, kids turn to the arts to find hope. I want to give them something to hold onto."
