About Randy
I loved playing the game and I love to give back what I have learned over the years. I want to feel the void in off season training offered the linemen. Skill positions have flag and 7on7 in the off season to further hone their skills. While linemen have traditionally pound weights in the off season. Although weight training is necessary. Learning the latest techniques and perfecting footwork is equally important.
To share years of experience from on and off the field, to see the improvement in an athlete as a result of hard work and motivation is the part of training and coaching I enjoy the most.
After a career ending injury, is maintained my athletic scholarship working in the universities training department.
After years of physical training I was introduced to youth football and fell in love with Coaching kids. As the years passed by I found myself helping older youth athletes prepare for H.S. and College ball.
This is just a pursuit of passion for me.
Certified Coach thru USA Football (re-cert. Every year for past 7 yrs)
3 yrs Athletic Training @ Central State University, Ohio
10 yrs youth position coach (ages 6-14)

Most important......Make sure the coach/trainer is making efforts to stay current new methods and information in their field.
Last year the team I coached on (Tucker Lions 12u) were YFA 12u Champions.
I have also assisted with pro level trainers (InTheTrenches)

The trainer are very in tune with the players and teaching them the correct Technique for OL/DL. He also provide one on one training for the players who need it. My opinion he is a great trainer.
Coach Lawson helped develop my sons physical skills and gave him the confidence to succeed in varsity football at a young ag.
Randy is very passionate about teaching kids to be safe and smart about football.
