About Logan

Our staff is experienced science based collegiate strength and conditioning coaches here to help prepare athletes or just everyday lifters to accomplish their goals.

I myself have worked with NCAA Divission 1 Athletic programs such as Old Dominion University and College of William and Mary our staff has the experience needed to help improve anyone's athletic performance. We are Nationally certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. I played College Soccer at the University of Lynchburg so I do know what it feels like to train. If you want to improve your overall speed, power and strength through science and evidence based practices then we are who you want to work with.

I myself do a combination of power lifting and athletic performance training for 3 years now. Along side helping athletes accomplish their goals out on the field or court, I also love coaching powerlifters and strength athletes. My favorite lift is the deadlift and lift over 500 lbs at only 195 lbs body weight.

I got started in the middle of my sophomore year of college working with athletes during an internship and I absolutely fell in love with coaching. I have worked with youth, college and professional athletes along with those just looking to get in shape and it is very rewarding hearing how much impact I had in their lives.

Education:

University of Lynchburg: Bachelors of science- Exercise Physiology

Experience:

-Programming and Coaching for Collegiate athletes at a Division 1 and 3 level: Old Dominion University, College of William and Mary, University of Lynchburg.

-Experienced power lifter

Certifications:

National Strength and Conditioning Association: CSCS

American Red Cross Association: AED and First Aid

About the lesson

Getting to know our client and their goals is absolutely first when meeting for the first time. We program around our clients work schedules and make sure everything we do is focused on accomplishing their goals!

Know your coaches certifications and past experience. The last thing you want is a coach that uses unsafe practices which either leads to overuse injuries from overloading and not managing stress properly or practices that lead to death from overworking athletes without knowing how much load they can handle. Pay the extra dollar for an investment in your safety along with your development.
