About Brittney

With my extensive years doing gymnastics for 6 years and coaching it for three, I have gained experience that has given me the ability to pay special attention to details and what each gymnast needs to learn before mastering a skill. Depending on the focus of the child, I will be able to plan accordingly to get your child the skills they need.

About me: I started doing gymnastics at the small age of 3. I have coached for two years at The Little Gym and at Jump Gymnastics, who both specialize in making gymnastics a way to get in tune to your body while supporting peace, love, and happiness. I also worked at Olympia Hills, assisting in light spotting with skills like pullovers, back handsprings, bridge kick overs, and cartwheels on the beam. My last job was at Champions 1826, where I held the title of the most valuable coach.

Being able to teach gymnastics in a fun way while helping kids acquire new skills.

I wanted a job that would be fun for me and would include my expertise in gymnastics. I loved working with kids and teaching, so I decided to coach at The Little Gym. From then, I have been coaching gymnastics for 3+ years.

I am CPR and First Aid Certified as well as properly trained to spot and train gymnasts.

About the lesson

Usually I start with a stretch in the beginning of the session and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Then, I work on perfecting and strengthening skills followed by conditioning. After working on those skills, I provide more advanced skills to work on.

I have worked with students from ages 3 to 15!

Never stop trying! I know learning a new skill can be hard at first, but I promise it gets easier. Nothing compares to that feeling of finally get it and that's why the training is worth it.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What skill set level am I? Do I know how to do forward rolls, backwards rolls, and handstands? Do I know how to do cartwheels and round offs? Are my toes pointed and are my stances correct?

Details

For in person meetings, I charge $75 a 60 minute lesson and $60 for a 45 minute lesson.
