About Lily

My name is Olivia and I am a mindfulness meditation teacher from San Francisco, California, with 2-year certification program experience at the University of California, Berkeley’s Greater Good Center - which is a science-based center focused on holistic well-being. My mentors include Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and Ronya Banks. I am formally educated in Philosophy from UC Berkeley. I am also an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and therapist, with a certification in teaching English to non-native English Speakers (TESOL). I have about 8 years of experience as a facilitator, administrator, and educator in K-12 nonprofit and public organizations, including at an elementary school in San Francisco as a literacy lead and social-emotional lessons teacher. I am certified in Restorative Yoga from Yoga Tree, and also to compliment my work as a teacher with people from diverse backgrounds, I am certified as an Enneagram Personalities Assessor with Dr. Tom LaHue. Further, I am certified in CPR for children, animals, and adults, as well as a certified applied psychology therapist, also known as a Registered ABA Therapist who has worked with special needs youth. I have taught mindfulness meditation abroad for disadvantaged children in an educational summer program in-person, as well as with fellow mindfulness meditation practitioners virtually this year in the U.S. I am comfortable teaching children, adults, and seniors from all backgrounds and walks of life.

As a health conscious and trauma-informed teacher - I am flexible to conform to the clients I work with to help them reach their goals and reach satisfaction with their educational progress in safe and supportive spaces. I’m also a regular in compassion-led mindfulness meditation retreats, as I have attended several during the global pandemic, and am happy to share my knowledge from these as well as a mindfulness meditation teacher. My style is empathetic, honest, and I will offer to make the most of our time together in whichever ways work for my clients using a diverse set of activities, discussions, practices, history, research, and/or stories - depending on what works for each clients’ personal needs and preferences.
