About Mason

Hi there! I'm a computer science student at Cal Poly Pomona with a lot of experience teaching. I would love to meet you and help you with your education!

I'm kind and like to explain things multiple ways, providing a wholesome learning environment.

Interacting with people is one of the things I enjoy most in life. I can't wait to meet my students and help them succeed!

I've always helped fellow students since elemenatry school.

My more professional experience includes teaching 5th grade Math, Science, and History at Vista Christian School, teaching Java at Classical Academy High School, and acting as an intern at a debate camp for Chinese Students at UCSD.

I have formally taught the Java course at Classical Academy High School in Escondido, California. This is one of my most cherished education memories, and I'd be honored to continue assisting more people to learn. Additionally I have taught math, science, and history at Vista Christian School in Vista, California.

In all of the subjects I advertise, I have earned an A- or higher.

About the lesson

I start by getting to know the student and parent's (if applicable) goals. During the first session I also aim to jump right in to help.

Interacting with people is something that brings me joy, so I work to create a friendly and kind relationship with my students.

Most of my experience has been with high school students and 5th graders, but I am prepared to assist anyone who is interested in my services.

If you're looking for a friendly guy with a lot of experience teaching, I'm your man! Regardless, whomever you choose, I wish you well in your educational endeavors.

I recently travelled to Hawaii with a team of friends to compete in the world's largest canoe race!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are you looking for help over a whole class, or just a specific concept? Maybe you would like someone to help you understand and stay on top of your homework. Whatever your aim, I'm pleased to tackle it with you.
