About Evan
I have been teaching for 14 years in both the public and private school arenas. I have a degree in mathematics from Texas A&M and have taught all math courses from Algebra I through AP Calculus BC (first and second semester calculus). I know how to determine what a student needs to develop their math skills. I can assess their learning style and tailor my teaching/tutoring style to meet those needs.
I enjoy working with students in mathematics. I have a real love of teaching math and enjoy working with students to determine their learning style and how best to help them approach mathematics problems.
I was hired when I was 23 to teach Algebra in a public school in Austin, but I really started when I was in high school tutoring my friends in class, explaining concepts to them.
14 years teaching (6 in the public schools and 8 in private schools)
