Zand is a great tutor! He has consistently helped my daughter get excellent grades on her 8th grade science quizzes and exams. He is very patient with her and has taught her fantastic study methods that she has been able to apply to other subjects as well. We are extremely happy with Zand! 5 out of 5 stars!

Zand’s the real deal — sharp, patient, and super easy to talk to. I started meeting with him for my college stats class, and honestly, I had no clue where to even begin. He broke everything down in a way that actually made sense, never once making me feel lost or behind. My grades jumped, and I actually started enjoying the material. Zand’s super knowledgeable and patient and great at what he does.

Zand is one of those rare tutors who actually makes learning enjoyable. I recommend Zand!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when we first started, but Zand exceeded every expectation. He keeps the sessions engaging without ever making the material feel overwhelming. My son went from dreading math homework to actually being willing to sit down and work through it. Really grateful we found him.

Zand is honestly the best tutor I’ve worked with. He explains things in a way that actually makes sense, and he’s super patient even when I’m totally lost. I never felt judged or rushed, which made it way easier to ask questions. My grades definitely improved, but more than that, I just feel more confident now. Highly recommend!

Zand transformed the way my child approaches learning. My son has struggled with math confidence for years, but after just a few sessions with Zand, things finally clicked. Zand broke down complex geometry and algebra concepts in a way my son could actually understand, and even made him excited to learn. His grades shot up from barely passing to solid B’s, and he’s aiming for A’s now! Zand is patient, encouraging, and truly invested in his students’ success. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Zand has been absolutely amazing with my daughter! Her geometry grade improved from a C to an A, and her confidence has grown so much. We truly can’t recommend Zand highly enough!

Zand has been an absolute gem. I originally hired him to help my son with Algebra, but after seeing how well they clicked, I booked him for SAT prep too. My son’s confidence has soared. He actually looks forward to tutoring, which I never thought I’d say about math. Zand has a rare gift for making things clear and engaging, and it’s obvious he truly cares about his students success.

He’s an absolute beast—knows his stuff inside and out. But what really makes him stand out is how easy he is to relate to. You never feel dumb around him, no matter what you’re asking. You can bring up any question, even the ones you might think are “stupid,” and he’ll break it down without making you feel small. Solid person all around.

Zand is absolutely fantastic! He’s been a tremendous help for my daughter’s SAT prep. She was really struggling with math, but Zand quickly identified her weak areas and focused on them in a way that was both engaging and clear. Over just a few weeks, her confidence skyrocketed, and she ended up scoring a 1410 on the SAT—her highest score by far! If you’re looking for a tutor who genuinely cares about their students’ success and knows how to get results, Zand is the one! Highly recommend!

5 stars! ATerrificTutor was an amazing tutor for my son's high school math classes. My son has been struggling for a year with math, so I am so glad to have found Zand. He is not only flexible and accommodating, but super nice. I was amazed to see the results in my son's grades and he is even happier now too that he can keep up and excel with his classmates.

Zand did an incredible job working with my daughter! He was very flexible with his time frames and diligent in keeping her on track. My daughter has always struggled with math, and he greatly helped to improve her understanding of the content in order for her to do well her senior year!

A Terrific Tutor
While in person unfortunately isn’t an option, the upside is that no matter where you might be, Chicago, Atlanta, or LA, Zand is at your service. He gives you practice and explains the concepts.

Zand has been a great tutor for our 10 year old son. Math is our son’s least favorite subject and word problems have always been difficult for him. Zand has been a great help. Our son just took his MAP test and he really improved from the last time we took in the fall. Zand knows how to work with kids and make the class interesting . He highly recommend him.

We needed a tutor on short notice for my son who was taking pre calc with trig. Zand was available, very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him!

Zand is personable, reputable, and knowledgeable. I would definitely use him again. Thanks for your help and for being so responsive!

My daughter has been with zade online for a chemistry course for a few months now . I preface this by saying she has dyslexia and auditory processing disorder and I was very fearful that online was not going to be successful. Well I was very wrong . Zand has been able to teach one on one with my my daughter and keep her engaged . He has her reading out Loud which is the way she learns best . This would be very difficult to do in a class room situation. He teaches her as she learns best , and the note taking is initiated by him and reinforces what is important . She learns more and comprehends better in one hour than in a full month of class room activity . And no distractions ! Which is so beneficial to my ADHD child . She liked Zand right from the start and continues to want to attend class and feel accomplished .
Zand gets 5 starts .

Zand has gone above and beyond to tutor my daughter in Calculus. We are very happy with his tutoring service.

I am very pleased with ATerrificTutor. Zand helped me a lot with online learning, I was completely lost before, but this service helped me more than any in person tutoring has before. The tutors at ATerreficTutor really know what they are doing.

Zand's the man! He helped my daughter get a 1490 on her first try on the SAT. He is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

I had the privilege of having Zand as a tutor for my daughter during a critical phase of her academic journey – the transition from high school to college. Zand's unwavering support and expertise played an invaluable role in helping my daughter successfully navigate this significant life change. Zand helped my daughter with her writing seminar and calculus assignments. One of the standout qualities I noticed about Zand was his remarkable depth of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. This versatility is a testament to his dedication and commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. Furthermore, Zand's assistance with my daughter's writing seminar assignments was nothing short of remarkable. His ability to dissect complex topics, offer constructive feedback, and guide her through the writing process greatly improved her writing skills. Under his tutelage, my daughter's writing became more refined, clear, and persuasive, leading to consistently high grades and recognition from her professors – we were really happy about this.

I cannot recommend Zand enough as a tutor. If you are seeking the best tutor to help your child navigate the challenges of high school, college, or any academic endeavor, I highly endorse Zand. He has made a significant difference in my daughter's academic journey, and I am immensely grateful for his contributions. With Zand as a tutor, you can be confident that your child is in capable hands.

Zand is the best tutor I have ever had. He helped me get As on my Macroeconomics tests and homework. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for tutoring. 5 out of 5 stars...

Zand is an absolute game-changer! My son, Andrew, was struggling a lot in Chemistry and Biology, hovering at a D grade. Enter Zand, and the transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Andrew ended up with an A in Chemistry and Biology! I wholeheartedly give him a perfect 5/5 stars.

But it's not just about the grades. Zand's ability to inspire and motivate is beyond remarkable. He's not just a tutor; he's a mentor who knows how to connect with his students.

I searched for over a month for the right tutor for Andrew. We went through over a dozen tutors and Andrew remained adamant that he wanted an in-person tutor. This all changed when we met Zand. Zand was not just the best tutor; he was the only one who truly clicked with Andrew. I give Zand the highest recommendation!

One of my daughters is at Dartmouth and the other is at Vanderbilt, and Zand is a huge part of their success. In high school, he tutored both my girls in precalculus, calculus, AP Chemistry and AP Bio. Then he helped them prepare and excel on the SAT and ACT. Zand moved seamlessly between the two assessments helping my girls understand how the pros and cons of each test played to or against their strengths. The end result was a 35 on the ACT and 1500 on the SAT. They would not have achieved these scores without Zand.
Besides being a master at math, chemistry, biology, ACT and SAT material, he is phenomenal in giving encouragement and sound advice. Sometimes kids don’t want to listen to their parents, but zand was able to deliver messages about perseverance and positive attitudes that my girls couldn’t hear from their parents. When my sophomore at college struggled with computer science 10, who did she call? Zand. And he helped her.
I give zand the highest recommendation. A student would be lucky to have him as a tutor and mentor. ”
