About Caroline
I am a recent graduate from King’s College London with a major in Mathematics, and a double minor in Management and Finance. I scored an A* in the UK’s Further Mathematics A-Level (akin to a perfect score in an associate’s degree); won gold in the UKMAT, and was Math Prefect during my A-levels, helping my peers in and out of the classroom.
When I was 14, I was a peer math tutor at my high school, whilst doing Advanced Geometry and AP BC Calculus II:
-Interpreted and translated complex mathematical concepts to be easily understood by a variety of students
-Tutored peers in Math to confidently solve problems
-Taught to guide students to the correct solution, not solve puzzles for them
-Built a reputation on campus and in the tutoring room as a top tutor
Before that, I was a paid student math tutor of children and teens alike:
-Tutored during and after completing the curriculum in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry
-Tutored children in mathematical methods and concepts, helping them gain mathematical confidence
I’m passionate about mathematics and languages. I taught myself multi-variable calculus for fun before I went to university. I aspire to nurture that passion within others, alongside a solid foundation to tackle any future problems with confidence and skill.
I welcome feedback, and enjoy working with parents and students alike to tailor my methods to best suit your goals and needs.
