About Liam
I have been a Middle School Paraprofessional working with higher needs kids now for more than 5 years. Currently, I am a 6th grade Social Studies teacher. I have an A.A. in Theatre, a B.A. in Psychology, and a M.Sc. in Environment Studies, and another in Political Science. I am also a Registered Behavior Technician.
I am comfortable with most Middle School and Elementary subjects (including a little spanish), with specialties in Math and Social Studies. I have been private tutoring on top of my work at the Middle school for over 3 years now, and have found it a great way to offer my help to those who need it the most!

I always try to come to tutoring sessions prepared. This means (if possible) preparing and looking over session materials so that I can best help the needs of the student. We can also just go through their work on the spot, this just takes a little longer as I need to familiarize myself with the materials to ensure I am teaching the correct way.
I have worked with students from Elementary to the end of Middle School. As a paraprofessional, I typically work with higher needs kids. Sometimes they are on the autism spectrum, sometimes they are dealing with something behavorial, sometimes they are fully functioning and just need a little extra help.
