About Pia

I have over fifteen years of experience in tutoring students one on one. I enjoy the challenge of getting to know how each person learns so I can cater math concepts to their learning style.

I absolutely love the gratetude I find in students once they really fully understand a math concept. It is the most rewarding feeling ever.

I've always had a passion to explain new concept to my friends when we were in high school. Everyone said I'd become a great math teacher and I followed their advice. I absolutely love the decision I made years ago.

I have a Masters in Mathematics and I am currently am an adjunct professor of mathematics. I've worked as a high school teacher for several years and I have been turning since I was in highschool.

About the lesson

I like to get to know the student to see if it's a good fit. It's nice to speak to parents and student at the same time to make sure we are all on the same page.

I have worked with elementary middle and high school students. I am currently working as an adjunct professor and help students individually when needed. I also have experience working with students with learning disabilities.
