About Anna
I worked for three years for the University of New Mexico tutoring services while completing my bachelor's degree in applied mathematics. While at UNM I taught subjects including pre-algebra, college algebra, pre-calc, and calculus, as well as some higher-level math such as differential equations and linear algebra. I am now pursuing a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Colorado, where I am a teaching assistant.

Before we meet in person, I'll ask some questions to get to know you and your goals. I try to tailor the interaction so that it is a length and activity (homework problems, extra examples, supplemental explanation) that works best for you. I usually also ask new students to send me a sample of what they've been working on so that I can take a look at it beforehand. If we both think it's a good match, we'll schedule a session to start working on some math!
