About Addis
Triple certified educator with +10 years of experience in public and independent schools. I prioritize the understanding and use of new knowledge so that it sticks!
Intimately familiar with Common Core Standards and IB Frameworks across the continuum, and the Orton Gillingham Approach to Reading and Spelling
I have spent the last 12 years serving students with the a variety of needs. I do this work for the look on the faces of students when the ideas click and the connections are made.
Working together we'll use a multisensory approach to reinforce understandings. The tutee will be the one doing most of the heavy lifting as that's how the understanding lasts.
