About Ariel

I love learning with people, and I would love to work with your child!

I am an enthusiastic and compassionate tutor with several years of experience. I am pursuing a career in education and I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and different ages. I am interested in creative problem solving and helping students to build self-confidence!

I worked as a math and science tutor for ESL high school students. I have also worked in a K-3rd outdoor science program and a childrens' science museum.

I am a senior at UC Berkeley, a Conservation and Resource Studies Major and Education Minor.

I am also able to help with your student's test prep; I scored a 5 on AP Literature, AP Language, AP Physics 1, AP Physics C, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP US History, AP Spanish Language, AP Psychology, and AP Statistics. I am also familiar with the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.

I hold a Spanish Biliteracy Certificate from the State of California.

When I began tutoring my peers in high school, I witnessed some of the disparities in children's access to educational opportunity. Working with English Language Learners, I realized that I wanted to help build a more equitable and empowering education system for all students.
