About Hannah
Hi everyone! I am a 24 year old high school math teacher with a passion for teaching mathematics! I have tutored many years throughout college and after graduation. I have taught algebra 1, geometry, and precalculus. I have tutored every math subject up until linear algebra. I know learning math can seem difficult, but there are so many tips and tricks that I can show you so that you can be a successful, resourceful mathematician!
I have a bachelors degree in mathematics education from the university of Wisconsin La Crosse. While there, I tutored for 3 years in the learning center in the library. I tutored my fellow college students in college algebra, pre/calculus, applied calculus, calculus 1, and linear algebra. I have since graduated and taught algebra 1 credit recovery, algebra 1, geometry, applied math, and pre-calculus.

Upon meeting a new student, I always like to get a feel for what material the student has mastered, what they are becoming confident in, and what they need additional support on. I then like to introduce some practice assessments/assignments that allow the student to show the skills that they already have and the ones that they still need guidance on. We then start reviewing the concepts behind the material and once we have gone over that, we move to an I do/ we do model.
