I absolutely love seeing the client change from the consultation to the end result. Personal training is definitely "personal"... I love meeting new people and really getting to know them in the gym. Seeing a client where they start and where they end up in the end is just a magical experience only someone in my position can experience.
I was a pre-med student in college and ended up a personal trainer. I left medical school, competed in a fitness show and went on to open multiple fitness centers during an 11 year period. You are literally working out with me, the brains behind the programs I write for so many people and trainers. My motivation is high and my caring approach is warm felt and makes even the most insecure or nervous ready to start.
I went to college, hold multiple certifications in fitness and nutrition, and have personally worked with hundreds and hundreds of clients who achieved their fitness goals.

We start every new client off as an individual case study. We understand everyone is different. People have different levels of motivation and we really try to read that. Getting in shape doesn't have to be so hard. We have a nice introduction to fitness in my opinion. Having been a personal training studio owner and body transformation specialist for over 15 years, i'd say... "trust me". :-)
Obsolutely every type over the years. I prefer to now specialize in women weight loss over 20 lbs for adults ranging from 40 and older.
Do your homework and ask questions. Clients rarely ask me questions during the consultation process. You are in the drivers seat to pick someone who you need to know, like and trust to take you through a journey you don't want to travel alone. That is an important role, just anyone won't do.
I have many funny and great stories to share being a business owner of 15years, a family man and father for 16years and 3 children, and a former police officer of 10 years. But I keep these stories to clients during sessions :-)

Details
Unfortunately no. Every case really needs to be reviewed as what it is. Some people won't like that and literally stop reading RIGHT HERE. However, I'm not looking to service those people. In my experience the "penny pincher" doesn't do what needs to be done to achieve true results, they are to busy trying to dodge things that cost money or additional time. There are times to be cheap and times to spend. Personal trainers are everywhere. But we are not all the same.
