About Michael
We teach quality Japanese Shotokan Karate. I am a Senior Instructor certified by the International Shotokan Karate Federation (65,000 worldwide members). I have been teaching in Great Neck and Port Washington since 1992. See my website at (concealed information) for full credentials and pictures. This is not a sport fighting or mixed martial arts club. You learn real traditional karate and self defense.
Teaching new and experienced students technically correct karate as taught in Japan today.
In our organization, senior students always help teach the junior students.
55 years of Karate experience, certified by ISKF as a Senior Instructor, Examiner and Tournament Judge. MBA from Adelphi University. See website for more information.

All new students are individually taught my me until they are proficient enough to join the regular class.
Male and Female students from age 6 to senior citizens.
We are a friendly environment where everyones goal is to learn karate. We have respect for one another and I personally supervise all sparring to ensure the safety of all students.
3 students just competed in our Regional Karate Tournament in Brooklyn. All had fun and gained great experience.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do they want to learn and how much effort are they willing to expend. I am a very patient and well trained Instuctor. Lazy students should not apply.

Details
Class lessons are $20 each or $120 per month. Classes meet Tuesday at 6:15pm and Friday at 6:30pm for one hour.
