About Tami

I work 1 on 1 with my beginners I can also do groups as well, and start from the ground up with the horse and rider.

I myself am a pleasure rider and enjoy working with horses with issues. My technique is different then most. I talk to my horse constantly slow and calm & and I don't give up my adapt training just a touch for the horses need, like pressure on pressure off rewording good behavior.

The comfort and love I get for my horses, their are just no words to explain that feeling. When you can ask your horse to do something for you and your horse is eager to do it both you and your horse are working together as a team not only do you have a rider you have a happy horse!

When I was a little girl my Dad always found me in the horse pins. So when ever he brought in new horses to train I was always right there to help. Then Dad would let me just start training and pointing where I needed to improve.. I've been teaching on my own for about 15 years 



I have been on a horse ranch my entire life. My Dad was a horse trainer From the time I was 2 years old. My Dad has done everything from riding in the Rose Bowl parade in California every year til November of 1978. My Dad has also made sure that both my sister and myself were and are able to ride and train horses well as to drive. My Dad has passed and it is now time for me to pick up the pieces and carry on the tradition. So that being said I know co- own "The Livery Carraiges for Hire & Horse Ridding Stables. We do weddings, proms, birthday party's or any special event. I also give 1-1 ridding lessons for beginners or group lessons for beginners as well.

Start by visiting with parents and student and find out exactly what the student knows about horses to begin with. In my eyes this is very (very) important. Then it's also very important to see what the horse knows as far as training. Grooming your horse before riding and Age is very important. Cleaning their hooves before and after also important. Saddling your horse properly is also important. The bit you use in your horses mouth can be extremely important as well 



I have worked with children with special needs, and 

that has to be 1 on 1.

i have worked with different ages of students and students with different experiences 



Interview the trainer you are interested in see if he/she meets your needs. Watch them work with their own horse.
