About McKenna
Originally from Colorado, I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A.Ed in Social Studies Education. I have a strong passion for history and always have. Growing up with learning disabilities, I have found many ways to help facilitate learning. The way I see it, there is always a way to learn, it may just take a minute to find it. No matter how long it takes to figure it out.
I graduated with a degree in social studies education. I also have teaching certificates in both Texas and Mississippi.

I like to meet with the family and student to see what they are hoping to learn or improve upon. Next, I like to sit with the student and talk to them about what they might be struggling with. Next, I like to have students take a learning style quiz so we can discover how the student learns best. After that, I develop a plan to help the student.
I have worked with students of all ages. From elementary school all the way up to college age.
