About Alejandra

Would you like to speak more clearly, more fluently, and even with an American English accent?

Will you’ve come to the right place!

Hi there my name is Alejandra, I speak with an American English accent and I’m here to help you do the same.

My main focus is to show you the right ways to improve your speaking by practicing where to stress your intonation, which is the rise and fall of your speech. How your mouth and tongue need to move to pronounce words/letters correctly. Also how to visualize what you would like to say instead of thinking and going blank when the word doesn’t come to you quickly.

We will talk about everyday life, as will as practicing exercises or worksheets that can add to your vocabulary as well as improving your pronunciation.

If you can listen, speak and read English at least at an intermediate to upper-intermediate level than you can definitely improve your speaking to sound more fluent and achieve an advanced level in the English language.

**Disclaimer: My lessons are not for English beginners, but for more advance students who would like to reduce their accent and sound more native in the English language.

My teaching philosophy is to allow learners to be comfortable and less embarrassed or ashamed to speak English by giving them a safe space where we have casual conversations and where learning the materials is fun and interesting to each learner.

As adult learners you have a lot of insecurities which, make you more hesitant to speak and share your ideas. I try to relieve those fears and make you feel confident in learning at your own pace.

I have experienced teaching adult learners how to reduce their accents and speak English more clearly as a native speaker.

I have my TEFL/TESOL certification - teaching English as a foreign language/ teaching English to speakers of other languages.
