About Thomas
I have tutored age groups ranging from reception up to A-Level. I tutored for over nine months at a tutoring facility called Intuition Clubs which specialised in Maths and English for students aged up to year 6 including 11 plus. Here I taught groups ranging from one to six students. I have also tutored privately for over a year and have collected my own fantastic tutoring resources catering to different years, subjects, and abilities. I also have an active DBS.
Some examples of the students I have taught privately include:
A dyslexic student in year five for Maths and English, a year five student preparing for their 11 Plus examinations, a year one student with ADHD and an A-Level student for Drama. As well as this, I have also led seminars at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on writing.
Above all else, I am incredibly patient with my students and genuinely passionate about their success, as a result, I have consistently seen a growth in both the confidence and ability of my tutees throughout their time with me. All students and their parents have consistently told me how much they enjoy the sessions and how they have seen progress in their work.
