About Doctor

My name is LeTa Jussila, known as Doctor LeTa and I am a Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Qi Gong Instructor and Practitioner of Higher Consciousness. Based out of Santa Cruz, California, I co-own a successful health and wellness company called Optimal Health and Fitness, LLC. I also have a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with my Capstone on the History and Therapeutic Benefits of Cannabis. I spend my time volunteering on a local non-profit Board, being a Mentor, teaching Acupuncture students, traveling and drafting my first book based on Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements. I educate and empower individuals on what they need to know to be efficient in health and thriving when we live in a world with such controversial information. Most of my teachings come through the Chinese Medical lens and are inspirational and fun.

I truly enjoy helping people reach their GOALS (whatever they may be) in the most efficient way possible. In Chinese medicine, we say it's best to take the 'Path of Least Resistance'. For instance, some of my clients want to get pregnant, or fall in love, get a new job, have deeper sleep, figure out what to do with a diagnosis, an addiction, etc.

It is most useful to work with a professional. It saves time, money and energy. Plus life is about connections and getting the support you need! :)

Honestly, it was by accident and after 15 years of teaching, I realized that I followed in the steps of my parents who were both teachers.
