About Gordy
Mt. Baker Gymnastics is here to bring the Skagit Valley community the best of what gymnastics and fitness have to offer - healthy, happy bodies and minds, through safe, professional instruction at all levels. Mt. Baker Gymnastics offers recreational and team gymnastics to the community, from toddlers to adults. We also offer competitive gymnastics for both boys and girls from beginner to elite. Special programs include birthday parties, camps, field trips for schools and organizations, and home school fitness programs.
Coach Gordy has been teaching recreational and team gymnastics in the Skagit/Whatcom area for over 35 years. He and his brother Bert competed on the UW Men's National Team and Gordy went on to compete internationally against some of the world's best athletes. Since then they've been helping young gymnasts pursue and achieve their dreams.
At Mt. Baker Gymnastics, we've assembled a team of knowledgeable, energetic, and dedicated coaches. We love what we do. Seeing your little ones grow, flourish, and overcome their fears is what we live for.
Coach Bert focuses on the recreational side with preschoolers through intermediates, while Gordy does it all, but spends much of his time developing his competitive team athletes.
Our other young coaches help out in all areas of instruction, creating fresh new drills, games, and class structures each week.
Coach Gordy has a special interest in helping children with developmental disabilities in both private and group class settings. Give us a call to learn more or stop by the gym to see us.

At Mt. Baker Gymnastics in Burlington, we know you just want to see your little one grow up strong, healthy, and happy. Gymnastics is a great way to build a foundation of skill sets they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
We not only build strong, flexible muscles and technical skills, we also teach them to have fun, be themselves, and encourage healthy social habits in a structured environment.
Gymnastics is a unique opportunity to help them grow into the best person they can be. Not to mention help them get out some of that energy in a safe, constructive way.
